1. Who we are

Templa Store ("Templa Store", "we", "us") sells digital website templates. Templa Store is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us at support@templa.store.

2. Personal data we collect and why

• Name and email address — to create your account, deliver purchased template files, send order confirmations and provide support. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Login credentials (hashed passwords, authentication tokens) — to secure access to your account. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in account security.
• Order and licence records (items purchased, amounts, order status) — to fulfil orders, honour licences and meet accounting obligations. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
• Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Usage and technical data (device identifiers, IP address, pages viewed, error logs) — to keep the store running, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Payment card details are never collected or stored by us. Payments are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

3. Who we share data with

• Merchant of Record — Paddle.com — for the sale of our products, order processing, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing and refunds.
• Service providers — hosting, database, email delivery, analytics and support tooling, acting on our instructions as processors.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where necessary.
• Authorities — where we are required to disclose by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal data. Where data is transferred outside your country or region, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. Retention

Account and order records are kept while your account is active and afterwards for as long as needed to honour licences, resolve disputes and meet tax and accounting requirements (typically up to 7 years). Support messages and technical logs are kept for a shorter period. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, to receive a portable copy, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at support@templa.store and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

6. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, row-level access controls and restricted administrative access.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your cart and theme preference. These are required for the store to work. If we add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first and provide a way to manage your preferences.

8. Changes

We may update this notice. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
